Obituary of Jerry A. Clark, Sr.

Jerry A. Clark Sr., 75, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Zane Clark and Julia Williams Clark, he had been the husband of Eileen Friedrichs Clark. He had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp since the age of five. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and served his country during the Vietnam War. During his service he served on the USS North Hampton (Navy One), which was the equivalent of Air Force One on the seas. He worked for several companies in the Bridgeton area including, Novick Auto Mall, Owens Illi`nois Glass Co., Anderson Box, and 7-UP. In his free time, he enjoyed Hot Rods, motorcycles, working on cars, and watching Western movies. Jerry was a very social person with the ability to start a conversation with anyone he met. He could often be found at Terrignos Deli and the Red Barn Deli where he was a social fixture. He was known to be a very giving person who would help anyone in need. He is survived by; his wife, Eileen Clark of Upper Deerfield Twp., his children, Heather Woodside (Ted) of Hopewell Twp., and Jerry Clark Jr. (Elizabeth) of Birdsboro, PA; his brother, Wendell Clark of Pennsgrove; and his grandchildren, Brooke Woodside, Sgt. Tyler Clark U.S.M.C., Harley Clark, Kyleay Woodside, Emilee Clark, Avery Clark, and Jonathan Clark. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Zane and Julia Clark. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Monday, May 13th, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11AM to 1PM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. following the services.
